Dr. Israel Aguilar

Dr. Israel Aguilar is faculty at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley. Dr. Aguilar earned a Ph.D. in Education with a major in school improvement from Texas State University. In addition, he holds Texas educator certification for superintendent, for principal, and for classroom teacher. Dr. Aguilar has experience as a former school administrator in Dallas, TX., and a teacher in Austin, TX., and in Brownsville, TX. He currently researches social justice issues in the context of K-12.
